Municipal waters remain under observation

Swimmy

Swimmy the corgi, ears up and tongue out, peeking over the waterline

One corgi, two dry ears, and an entirely unofficial patrol.

Known Route

He patrols the warm current until every loose lunch has a witness.

Two Working Modes

Surface Professional

Maintains eye contact with shore while four paws negotiate the local chop.

Snack Radar

Detects unattended sandwiches beyond the limits of responsible marine navigation.

Pool Duty

Swimmy paddling through a municipal pool, towing an orange rescue float by its rope
Subject
Swimmy, licensed by nobody and recognized by every towel on the rail.
Status
Returning the orange rescue float after confirming it cannot be eaten.
Method
Ears dry, tongue deployed, paddling calibrated to the nearest possible snack.

At the municipal pool, Swimmy reports before the lane ropes settle. He checks the orange float for structural snacks, circles the deep end once, then returns to the steps without shaking. Towels are considered shore infrastructure and must remain stacked above nose level.

Note From The Deep End

Dear breakwater, the orange float wandered again, so I escorted it past the lane rope and returned it to the shallow end before lunch. The gulls filed no paperwork, the lifeguard asked no questions, and one sandwich remains under active review near the blue umbrella. Please keep tomorrow's tide warm, the steps clear, and the towel stack within nose height; I will arrive after the first whistle.

Swimmy

Back before the towels dry.
